Product Description: LR188835 is an original upgraded rear-right air spring for Land Rover Range Rover Sport L461, perfectly matched with LR188834 rear-left version. It is specially designed for L461 rear air suspension system, used to replace aged, cracked and leaking original air springs.
Adopting multi-layer cord-reinforced EPDM rubber technology, the air bladder features excellent tensile resistance, fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance, adapting to full-scenario road conditions. 1:1 original factory size, nozzle angle and mounting position ensure direct replacement without cutting or polishing. It solves common faults such as rear-right sagging, uneven body height, suspension warning light, bumping noise and pressure loss. 4. FAQ
Q1: Can rear-right and rear-left air springs be interchanged?
A: No. LR188835 is exclusive for L461 rear right. Different nozzle angles and base structures will cause assembly errors, air leakage and suspension fault codes if mixed.
Q2: When to replace air spring only and when to replace the full strut?
A: Replace only the air spring if the strut core is oil-tight and damping works well. Replace the complete strut if oil leakage, damping failure or tube deformation occurs.
Q3: Is calibration required after installation?
A: Yes. Air tightness test, body height calibration and fault code reset are mandatory to avoid abnormal height, suspension alarm and unstable driving.
Q4: Does this product contain strut core and solenoid valve?
A: No. This is an independent air spring assembly, the original strut core needs to be reused.
Q5: Why does the new air spring leak after installation?
A: It is usually not a product quality problem. Common reasons include unclean sealing surface, reused old seals, insufficient fastening torque, aging air pipes or faulty valve blocks. Replace all sealing accessories and install in standard procedure.
Q6: Is it compatible with L494 / L460 models?
A: No. This air spring is exclusively designed for L461 chassis, incompatible with other Land Rover models.
