Q1: Can this rear right air bag be installed on rear left or front suspension?
A: No. The rear left and rear right suspension of 976 new Panamera are non-universal. The front and rear air springs differ greatly in structure, stroke and base clamping position. Wrong installation will cause sealing failure, continuous air leakage and air suspension fault codes. This part is only applicable to the rear right position.
Q2: Is it suitable for mechanical spring version 976 Panamera?
A: No. This product only fits models equipped with factory original PASM air suspension. The mechanical spring chassis has no reserved structure for air spring installation.
Q3: When to replace only the air bag and when to replace the complete shock assembly?
A: Replace only the air bag if the original shock core is oil-tight, with normal damping rebound, no cylinder deformation and no driving abnormal noise, only the air bladder is aged, cracked, leaking or causing rear-end sagging. If the shock core has oil leakage, damping attenuation, internal wear or cylinder deformation, it is recommended to replace the complete rear air shock assembly.
Q4: Is computer calibration required after replacing the rear right air bag?
A: Yes. Air tightness leakage test, vehicle height calibration and fault code clearing must be completed after installation. Uncalibrated installation will cause rear height deviation, vehicle tilt and continuous suspension alarm.

A: No. This is an independent rear right air spring bladder, only equipped with air bag and dust cover. Shock absorber core, solenoid valve, sealing clamps, gaskets and other auxiliary accessories need to reuse original parts or be purchased separately.
Q6: Can it fit old 971 Panamera or other models?
A: No. The air spring parameters, stroke and mounting points of the 976 new chassis are completely different from the old 971 models. It is vehicle-specific, and cross-generation or cross-model installation is forbidden.
